David B. Rosen, Managing Partner

Dave was privileged to start his post-college career working with an exceptional group of bankers and entrepreneurs.  During this period of rapid US financial deregulation, Republic National Bank of NY, founded by Edmond J. Safra, grew to one of the top money center banks in the country.   Dave had multiple assignments of increasing responsibility ultimately joining the senior management team of the Retail Banking Division as a Senior Managing Director. Republic provided Dave with a wonderful foundation early in his business career. Management was encouraged to think outside the box, embrace entrepreneurship while maintaining a disciplined approach to asset allocation, risk management, liquidity, expense control and many other critical skills that have stayed with him to this day.  

Dave left Republic and financial services a few years before its sale to HSBC.  After leaving banking, he was determined to focus his skills on entrepreneurship. As the demographics of baby boomers were aging, he targeted the healthcare sector.  

During the early years of the internet, Mr. Rosen co-founded the I Feel Good Network, playing health educational videos in doctor's waiting rooms subsidized by pharmaceutical advertising.   Given his familiarity with the medical sector, he co-founded ipMedica, Inc., a regional medical documentation company servicing hospital, clinics, and medical offices.  

Recognizing the explosive growth of the US generic pharmaceutical industry, Dave co-founded Rising Pharmaceuticals. a specialty pharma company focused on co-development and distribution of generics nationwide.  Following the sale of Rising to a NASDAQ-listed public company and his exit several years later, he co-founded DASH Pharmaceuticals LLC.  Dash focused on co-development and in-licensing of generics, emphasizing institutional products.  At the end of 2021, Dash was sold to a subsidiary of Natco Pharma Ltd., a Hyderabad India headquartered multinational company specializing in the development and manufacturing of complex generics.  

Following the integration of Dash and its rebranding as Natco Pharma USA LLC, he now focuses his time on JZJ Holdings investment activities, selected consulting projects and charitable endeavors.
